Kay Francis Snyder

Kay Francis Snyder, age 62, of Oak Hill, passed away, Sunday April 8, 2012 at SOMC Hospice care in Portsmouth. She was born January 3, 1950 in Oak Hill, West Virginia to the late Andy and Mildred (Eggers) Kozma.

Kay lived in Oak Hill Ohio and was survived by her husband Howard (Dusty) Snyder, of Oak Hill; one brother, Roger (Rosemary) Kozma, of Oak Hill; one sister, Sandra Blevins, of Oak Hill; four children, Kenneth Stanley, of Wellston, James Stanley, of Ashland Kentucky, Robert Moore, of Chillicothe, and Tonya (Katie) Crisp, of Oak Hill; three step children, Terry (Tammy) Snyder, of Oak Hill, Richard (Pam) Snyder, of Oak Hill, and Rhonda (Phillip) Queen, of Gallipolis. Kay also left behind thirteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Kay and Dusty also raised two granddaughters, Brianna O’dell and Hallye O’dell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two twin infant daughters. She retired from Oak Hill Schools as a bus driver.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m.Wednesday April 11, at the Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Rondall Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, April 10, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
