Paul V. Sexton

Paul V. Sexton, age 72, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. He was born January 26, 1940 in Jackson, the son of the late John and Catherine (Helman) Sexton. Paul was retired from Asplundh Tree Company after 30 years and the City of Jackson after 15 years. Paul was a dedicated member of the Jackson Ironmen chain gang for about 27 years.

Paul is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy A. (Mannering) Sexton; daughter, Pam (Jay) Martin, daughter, Angie (Mike) Eisnaugle, son, Dusty (Wendy) Sexton, and son, Jamey (Misty) Sexton; grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Swackhammer, Jennilyn Martin, Andy Eisnaugle, Kelsey Martin, Luke Eisnaugle, and Sarah Swackhammer; brother, Danny (Pat) Sexton of New Mexico; brother, Phillip (Cindy) Sexton of Jackson; brother, James (Sheila) Sexton of Londonderry; sister, Joyce (the late Gerald) Wisecup of Oak Hill; sister, Kathy (Ray) Hammond of Patriot; and sister, Pansy (Gregg) Ericson of Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Sexton; sister, Bonnie Sexton; brother, Gene Helman; his much loved uncle, (George (Helen) Sexton and many other aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson.
