Betty L. Reed, 75, of Wellston, died Saturday, July 28, at Holzer Medical Center, Jackson. She was born May 12, 1937 in Wellston, to the late Virgil Tedrow and Kathryn Dixon Tedrow Kegley. Betty was a homemaker and the owner and operator of McArthur Express. She enjoyed going to stock car races and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert I. Reed, whom she married April 9, 1955; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ted Craft of Wellston, and close sister-in-law, Peg Miller of Wellston. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her father who raised her, Edmond Kegley. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with John Pelletier officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
