Gloria Jean Holzapfel Morris, age 79, passed away February 16, 2022, at Grant Hospital, Columbus, OH. She was born November 23, 1942, to the late Frank and Lelah (Martin) Holzapfel.
Gloria is survived by her sister, Linda Apple; four children: Dawn Seay, David Morris, Mark Morris and Rob Hardee; one nephew, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, as well as many close friends and relatives. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Morris; second husband, Robert (Bob) Hardee; and daughter-in-law Donna Morris.
Gloria grew up in Wellston, OH and lived in Lansing, MI for many years of her adult life. She later returned to Jackson County and resided at Holzer Assisted Living for the past few years. Gloria enjoyed playing bingo, watching sports on TV and CNN. She loved spending time with her family at Christmas and Thanksgiving.
In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, her body was cremated. A private Celebration of Life service will be held in her memory.
