Timothy A. Potts, age 51, of Oak Hill, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 3, 2015. He was born November 18, 1963 in Oak Hill to Shirley Jones and the late Donald Potts.
He was married to Rena (Mahan) Potts on April 28, 1984, they had one son, Timothy “T.J.” Potts, Jr.
He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He loved his family, church family and fishing, but most of all, he loved God. He was a member of Gallia Baptist Church and also a member of the Madison-Jefferson Firefighters Association.
In addition to his mother, wife and son, Tim is survived by brother, Brian (Connie) Potts; sisters, Cheryl Potts and Heather Jones; brother-in-law, Timmy Mahan; special friends, Samantha, Tristin, Josslynn Crabtree; also several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by step-father, Herman Jones; brothers, Steve Potts and Shawn Jones; and grandparents, Frank and Pauline Snyder.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home with Pastor Cline Rawlins officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery.
