Sharon Maxine Oiler, age 69, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Edgewood Manor in Lucasville, Ohio. She was born November 27, 1942, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to the late Leland and Effie Short.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Bowman, of Portsmouth, Judy (Mike) Carter, of Oak Hill, Paula (Steve) Sapp, of North Carolina, Margaret (Mark) Allard, of South Webster, Danita Runyon and Paul (Sandy) Oiler Jr., of Chillicothe. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Leda Lee, of Glouster, Ohio, and Jean Ashmore, of Lakeland, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul James Oiler, and two brothers, Alfred and Buster Short. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home (formerly Kuhner-Lewis) of Oak Hill with Rev Cline Rawlins officiating. Burial will follow in C.M.
