Joan G. Exline, age 82, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus after a very short illness. She was born in Wellston, Ohio, October 10, 1929 to the late John and Mary (Fisher) McKinniss.
She is survived by sons, Dale (Judy) Exline of Jackson, Dean (Kris) Exline of North Carolina and Dana (Jeannie) Exline of Jackson; grandchildren, Josh Exline (Missy) Grace Exline (Brian), Stosh Exline (Cody), Levi Exline, Erin Exline and Alex Exline; sister, Kay Scarberry, sister-in-law, Terry McKinniss, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and camping friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grafton Exline, brother, Paul McKinniss, sister, Doris Wallar and special shopping friend, Margaret Kimble.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday June 20, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home (formerly Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home) with Pastor Rick Christman officiating and burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the funeral home.
