Rebecca S. Hodgson, 90, of Mesa AZ, peacefully entered into the rest of Jesus Christ her Savior on the morning of July 21, 2014. Rebecca was born to James W. and Georgia Howe Swingle on January 17, 1924 in Jackson.

After graduating from Coalton High School, Rebecca was employed as the Jackson County Deputy Clerk of Courts. In 1950 she married George O. Hodgson and they had one daughter, Ruth. Her legacy and love of music will continue through her daughter Ruth Argabright (Ron), grandchildren Renate Allen, Ryan Argabright (Jennifer), Rachel Hassan (Omar), as well as great-grandchildren Megan, Elena, Stephen, Savannah and Abraham. Rebecca is also survived by brother Dean Swingle (Diane) of Wellston.
