Molly Maxine Donaldson

Molly Maxine Donaldson, age 87, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away July 25, 2017 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. She was born Oct. 22, 1929 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Walter D. and Josie (Henderson) Yinger.

She is survived by one grandson, Andre Levi Donaldson, of Salem, Oregon; great-grandson, Fox Levi Donaldson of Salem, Oregon; sister, Mabel M. Maloney of Jackson, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sadie Mercer of Jackson, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Donaldson; son, Richard Thomas Donaldson; brothers: Delmar Yinger and Ernest Yinger; and sister-in-law, Helen Yinger.

Molly was a member of Beach Grove Free Will Baptist Church of Wilmington. She and her husband, Carl enjoyed traveling and camping over most of the United States for over 11 years. Molly enjoyed quilting, crocheting and other crafts; as well as her flowers and working in her church. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Clinton Memorial for the excellent care they provided. Molly had almost daily visits from her niece, Deborah O’Day and husband, Mike O’Day during her stay. The family is very thankful for their tender care.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfh.com
