Doris Ann Dotson, age 73, of South Webster, went to be with the lord, Friday, December 21, 2018, at Riverside Hospital. She was born on June 25,1945 in Oak Hill to the late George and Viola Smith.
Doris was a member of The Eagles, where she loved spending time with friends. She also loved spending time with her family who loved her dearly.
She is survived by her son, Richard Vititoe (Jen), her daughter, Heidi Wright (Larry); her grandchildren, Scott Vititoe, Kayla Sowards (Aaron), Courtnie Summers (Scott), Morgan Charles (Derek); 8 grandchildren; and a dear friend, Sharon Brady.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Diles Dotson; a son, Michael; two brothers, Paul and Charlie Smith; a sister, Dorothy Bowens; and a lifetime friend, Martha Canter.
Friends may call Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
