Tony Lee Kirby, age 57, of Hamden, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 28, 1962 in Wellston, Ohio to Thomas E. Kirby and Eva Jane Farro Kirby.
Tony loved football and The Ohio State Buckeyes, but his greatest passion was his family, especially the love he had for his grandchildren. Tony was employed at Sands Hill Coal Company.
He is survived by his children, Tony Kirby, Jr., Tabitha Graham, Tasha Kirby, Kenny Crabtree, Katie Disbennett, Jerrell Gartin, and Dylan Gartin; grandchildren, Toby, Talijah, Trebor, Keara, Mason, Bentley, Triton, Axton, Luna, and NaGaven; brothers, Thomas, Todd, Trent and Tracey Kirby; as well as two sisters, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Kirby, mother, Eva Jane Kirby, and his mom, Betty Kirby.
