Ronald Curtis Smart, age 50, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. He was born April 22, 1970 in Columbus, to the late Dee (Thomas) Perkins and Roger Rhea.
He is survived by his children, Jacob Smart, of Columbus and Ambrose Smart, of Wellston; grandchildren, Trenton Smart; father, Joe (Marsha) Smart; step father, Bill Perkins; brother, Todd Smart; step brother, Billy (Regan) Perkins; mothers of his children, Tara Robinson and Gale Smart; nieces and nephews, Megan, Chelsee, Kylee and Abram Smart, Blake Perkins, and Anthony Perkins; aunts and uncles, Mike (Sharon) Thomas, Susie Yates, Brian (Karen) Adams, and Patsy (Rhea) Spires; cousins, Ben Matteson and Erica Wolford and special friend, Vanessa Smart.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dee Perkins; father, Roger Rhea; grandmother, Irene Adams; grandfather, Richard Adams; granddaughter, Alexis Smart; uncle, Tommy Matteson and “Uncle Jack”.
Memorial services will be held at the Rock Church, 1981 Standpipe Road, Jackson, Ohio on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 6 p.m. with his uncle and pastor, Brian Adams, officiating.
