Robert “Bob” Jenkins, age 78, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 10th, 2021, at Holzer of Jackson. He was born on October 10th, 1943, to the late George and Stella (Caldwell) Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sherry (Cooper) Jenkins; mother-in-law, Easter Cooper; daughters: Ronda Jenkins and Christy (John) Hornsby; stepson, Troy (Chris) Wyant; grandchildren: Danielle Jenkins (Steve Martin), Robert Cook, Beth (Nick) Robinson, Sean Hornsby, and Abigail (Wyatt) Grooms; special great-grandson, Alex Jenkins; nine great-grandchildren; brothers: Calvin (Barb) Jenkins and George Jenkins; sister, Betty Buckley; and sister-in-law, Mary Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Selvin Jenkins; sister, Shirley Stapleton; brothers-in-law: Darrell Stapleton, Mike Buckley and Dennis Wallace; and sisters-in-law: Linda (Cooper) Wallace and Cathy (Cooper) Wood.
Bob loved his Lord and Savior and all the great outdoors he created. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing or just sitting outside watching the wild animals. He was also a big fan of flea markets and auctions.
Graveside services for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 15th, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Monroe Cemetery in Oak Hill, Ohio with Rev. Bryon Carmon officiating.
