Ricky Anton Maerker, age 61, of Jackson passed away Tuesday May 3, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center of Jackson, Ohio. He was born January 6, 1961, to the late Clarence Anton Maerker and Norma “Rawlins” Hammond.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Reds, Bengals, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a loving father, brother and son that always put his family first.
Ricky is survived by daughter, Lacey Maerker; siblings: Vickie (John) Maerker Riddle, Kimberly (Danny) Crace, Allan Hammond and Don Maerker; nieces and nephews: Jason and Jennifer, Amber and Cary, Pearce, Devin, Erin and Allie; also great nieces Lillie and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather June Hammond, and infant nieces Tera and Bobbie Jo.
The family will receive friends Thursday May 5, 2022, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday May 6, 2022, at 1 p.m. with Rev.
