Patricia (Pat) Ann McGhee, age 87, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born Oct. 20, 1929 in Sumay, Guam to the late Mariano and Asuncion Perez. She was very proud of her heritage and being born and raised in Guam. She worked and retired from Heartland and loved to play Bingo at the Madison-Jefferson Firefighters Bingo. She was a great mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her generosity and kindness.
She is survived by children: Henry (Tina) Knaeble and Patricia “Patty” Knaeble; son-in-law, Terry Leonard; grandchildren: Terry (Shelbi) Leonard II, Tyler Leonard (Shiane Johnson), Kimberly (Eric) Torres, Kevin (Lori) Knaeble, Kaylyn (John “Joseph”) Bautista; great-grandchildren: Brytney, Tyler, Teah, Madison, Hannah, Meghan, Rachael, Lance, Khloe, Amelia, Eloise, Alma, and Braydon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer McGhee; brothers, Santiago Perez and Tomas Perez; and sisters, Rosalia Leon Guerrero and Dolores Alcantara.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Graveside services will immediately follow at C. M. Cemetery under the direction of Father Nic Ventura. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfuneralhome.com
