Paris Lynn Shepherd, age 60, of Wellston, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at her home. She was born April 29, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Lawrence Edward “Larry” Cline and Verna Victoria “Vicki” Thompson Cline.
Paris was a 1981 graduate of Wellston High School and was a cashier at the former Kroger in Wellston, where she was employed for 23 years. Paris was a beautiful person, both inside and out, and was very passionate. When her health permitted, she enjoyed fishing, attending Fire Church, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Paris is survived by her mother, Vicki Cline of Wellston; husband, Jake Shepherd of Wellston; children: Jordan Stepp (Zack) of Wellston and Kessa Johnson of Hamden; grandchildren: Promises “Izzy,” Jase, Maddi and Jake Stepp; and sister, Danielle Rupert (Nick) of Wellston. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Cline; sister, Lori Cline Kelly; and grandparents: Henry and Betty Cline.
In keeping with Paris’s request, her body was cremated, and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Paris’s name be given to the Jackson County Humane Society, P.O. 1, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
