Morlan Kenneth Kiser

Morlan Kenneth Kiser, age 83, of Patriot, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 after a brief illness. He was born December 15, 1928 to the late William and Blanche (Oney) Kiser. He was a retired mail carrier, serving the Patriot area for 35 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lewis Kiser, May 28, 1986. Also preceding him in death were brother, Robert Kiser, sisters, Ruth Heading, Darlene Kiser, Dorothy King, and Joann Holbrook and an infant brother, John Preston.

He is survived by daughter, Kristine (Greg) Bailey, of Langsville; son, Kenneth (Stephanie) Kiser, of Vinton; three grandchildren, Justin (Katie Lowery) Kiser and Paige Kiser, both of Vinton, Devin Pollock, of Jackson; and his very special friend and companion Shenie Burnett.

At Kiser’s request, there will be no services. His care has been entrusted to the Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Funeral Home in Oak Hill. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Perennial Cat Shelter, 3390 State Route 325 S, Thurman, Ohio 45685.
