Mitchell W. Slagle, age 69 of Jackson, Ohio passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Mitchell was born December 8, 1951 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late John and Annie Fulkerson Slagle.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Marilyn (Snell) Slagle, Daughter: Loretta Eldridge, Son: Mitchell Riley (Sheila) Slagle, Sister: Sharon Mustard (fiancé Mike Whitten), Brother: Anthony Slagle, grandchildren: Andrew (Stephanie) Eldridge, Danielle Eldridge, EJ Aills, Byron Aills, Marshall Aills, Levi Aills, LJ Browning, Chrisha (Cody) White, Brittany (Irvin) Martinez, Faith Browning and Tiffany Slagle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends, and his dog Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Timothy Slagle and Robert Slagle, sisters: Patricia Mallory, Cheryl (Don) Reveal, Sherry Aills and Shirley Slagle.
Family and friends may call Saturday, January 30,2021 from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Bethel Apostolic Church, 5356 State Street, Albany, Ohio 45710. Funeral services will be starting at 12 PM. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers and other memorial items, contributions can be made to the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
