Marsha Phillips, age 55, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at SOMC, Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born Dec. 30, 1962 in Oak Hill, to the late Lester and Shirley “Peg” Adkins.
She is survived by her spouse, Tony Phillips and daughter, Jillian Phillips, both of Jackson; brothers and sisters, Jackie Adkins, Sheila Sergent, Brenda McKenzie, Debbie Ridgeway, Jerry Adkins, Jeff Adkins, Jeanne Ingles, Jeanette Ingles, Eric Glen Adkins, and Joshua Adkins; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lester “Bub” Adkins, a sister, Carolyn Harrison and nephew, Eric Lee Adkins.
Marsha co-owned S&M Tax and Accounting offices of Jackson and Gallipolis. She will be missed by her family and many friends, and will be waiting to welcome them home in Heaven.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bryon Carmon officiating and burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
