Margaret L. (Hammond) Kimble, 84, of Jackson, Ohio passed away in the early morning hours on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Jackson, Ohio on July 31, 1927 to the late Floyd and Avonelle Hammond. She was preceded in death by husband, Warren (Bubby) Kimble, and brothers, Conrad Hammond and Bob Hammond.

Margaret is survived by three daughters, Sheila Woolum (Carl) of Jackson, Joy Cook of Columbus, and Twana Gahm (Jon) of Jackson. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Angela Cyrus (Richard) of Roanoke, VA, Stacey Crace (Roger) of Chillicothe, Ohio, Shannon Cook (Chris) of Columbus, Ohio, Ryan Cook (Jennifer) of Pauly’s Island, SC, Ashlee Ross (Brian) of Jackson, Ohio, and Kylee Gahm (Jason) of Jackson, Ohio; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by special friend, Joan Exline of Jackson, Ohio.

Margaret was a member of the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church of Jackson, Ohio, the Jackson Mothers’ Club, Jackson’s Camping Club, Red Hat Society, and she volunteered for the Red Cross.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home in Jackson, Ohio with Pastor Rick Christman officiating and burial in Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio. Friends may call Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m.
