Kenneth Edward “Shake” Daniels, age 64, of Wellston, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 27, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 4, 1951 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Frank Edward Schwanger and Geraldine Bethel Schwanger.
Shake was a 1970 graduate of Wellston High School and was employed by General Mills for 23 years. He enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Reds.
Shake is survived by his wife of 32 years, Brenda L. Nichols Daniels; daughters, Mandy Daniels and Shania Daniels, both of Wellston; brother, Fritz Daniels (Linda) of Carlton, Michigan, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Phyllis Nichols.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Rawlins officiating. Burial will be in the Byer Cemetery.
