Judy Duncan

Judith “Judy” Joann (Greer, Hall) Duncan went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 10, 2021 at her home.  She was born January 31, 1974.

Judy was the youngest of 5 children.  She attended Scioto Elementary and was a 1992 Jackson High School graduate.  Judy was a member of the JHS tennis team and the National Honor Society.  She continued her education at the University of Rio Grande where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in 1996 and a Master’s Degree in 2001.  She taught English for 20 years at Jackson Middle School.  She loved teaching and loved working with children of all ages.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents: J.D. and Mary Lou Greer of Beaver; maternal grandparents: Clifford and Martha Claar and paternal grandparents: Joe and Martha Greer of Beaver; and one brother, Joe Greer of Jackson.

She is survived by her son, Evan Michael Hall of Chillicothe; two brothers: Glenn (Stella) Greer of Beaver and Robert (Tanya) Greer of Ray; one sister, Bettie Lou (Kenny) Wyatt of Jackson; a special aunt, Sue Claar of Jackson; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Grace United Methodist Church.

A private graveside service was held at Bethel Ridge Cemetery.
