Juanita V. McDonald, age 75, of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Four Winds Community. She was born in West Virginia on Jan. 17, 1943 to the late Roy and Rueie (Oxier) Mullins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy McDonald and a brother, Richard Mullins.
She is survived by her husband, James T. McDonald; son, Jamie (Cindy) McDonald; daughters, Diane (Brian) Jarvis and Laura (Rob) Devlin; grandchildren: Shane (Tausha), T.J. (Christie), Jacob, Austin, Michael, Amanda, Nicole, Ethan, Nathan and Brian, along with several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers: Homer, Tommy, Chub, Don, and Ray Mullins; sisters: Lavinnie Reynolds, Rosetta Dotson and Dessie Hill, along with many nieces and nephews.
Juanita loved her dogs and enjoyed flower gardening.
The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Monday, April 2 from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. with Diana Devlin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
