Juanita Martin, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013. She was born November 6, 1921 in Soldier, Kentucky to the late Allie and Mary (McEldowney) Fults.
As many will remember, she and her late husband, Loren H. Martin, were the original owners of LH Martin Concrete and Block Company.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Donna J. (Wade) Erwin, of Snellville, Georgia; grandson, Jeff Erwin of Lawrenceville, Georgia; granddaughter, Trisha (George) Monroe, of Loganville, Georgia; great-granddaughter, Taylor Monroe; sister-in-law, Winnie Phillips; two brothers-in-law, Gene (Lucille) Martin, and Richard (JoAnn) Martin; a nephew; several nieces; and numerous other family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 10 siblings.
Funeral services are under the direction of Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 6 from 12 to 2 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
