Janet Mae (Barker) (Conley) Simpson, age 82, of Patriot, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born Sept. 22, 1937 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Maryland Barker and Mattie (Blevins) Barker.
Janet is survived by one sister, Faye McGlone from Ashland, Kentucky; daughters: Jackie (Brian) Hale; Gypsy (Steve) Hammond, Karla Simpson, Janetta (Greg) Fulk, and Misty (Joseph) Seyford; sons: Tommy (Sabrina) Simpson, Adam Simpson, Shane Reed, David Conley, Anthony (Renee) Simpson, Merlin (Sharon) Conley, and Charles Conley; daughter-in-law, Melissa Conley; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored and cherished so much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Simpson; son, Randall Steven; and daughter, Pamela.
Janet was a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, as well as a great-grandmother to her family and she will be in our hearts forever.
