Harold Dale Arthur, age 67, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born May 6, 1951 in Vinton County, Ohio to Harold Clinton “Sam” Arthur and Dorothy Jane Richards Arthur. Dale was a 1969 graduate of Wellston High School and was a former employee of YSK. In his younger years, Dale enjoyed tinkering on cars, while in his later years his enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Dale is survived by his mother, Dorothy Arthur of Wellston; children, April Hollingshead (Eric) of Wellston, Angie Evans (Jason) of Jackson, and Adam Arthur (Sarah) of Wellston; grandchildren, Hannah Hollingshead, Sydney Hollingshead, Taylor Evans, Trenton Evans, Liam Arthur and Jase Arthur; brothers and sisters, Sherry Gray, Richie Arthur, Kristy Patrick, David Arthur, Roger Arthur and Ginger Ousely; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Harold “Sam” Arthur, and his daughter, Amy Arthur.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 11 A.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Clingan officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
