Gwendolyn Ann Taylor, 61, of Moriah Road, Oak Hill, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Holzer Medical Center – Jackson. Gwen was born March 25, 1952 in Gallipolis, OH. She was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and the University of Rio Grande. She was a long-time employee of the University of Rio Grande and a lifetime member of Moriah Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evan Darwyn and Marian Smith Edwards and brother, Thomas Edwards.

Gwen is survived by her husband, Greg Taylor; her two children, Andrea Crider and Kari Taylor; three siblings, Becky (Richard) Weber, Jim Edwards, and Chris (Carson) Hunt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Moriah Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Christine Burns officiating. Friends may call at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home from 4-8 on Monday, August 26. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Moriah Presbyterian Church.
