Heaven gained a beautiful soul on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, as Evelyn E. Haley, age 82, of Jackson, Ohio completed her journey from this earthly home to begin her new life in Heaven. She was born January 18th, 1934 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Charles and Hallie (Graham) Miller.
She is survived by her sons: Chuck (Kimberly) Haley of Livonia, Michigan and Stephen (Janet) Haley of Jackson, Ohio; five grandchildren: Stephen, Brian, Matthew, Patrick, and Jeremy; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Betty Goff; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Haley; an infant sibling, Mary Helen Miller; and a brother, Ray Miller.
Evelyn was a graduate of Jackson High School and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 19 with Pastor Dave Roach and Rev. Janie Karl officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
