Ella Marie Daily, age 76, of Chesapeake, Ohio, and a former resident of Wellston, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
She was born January 30, 1945 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Cleatus Bush and IO Cline Bush. Ella was a Christian who loved the Lord and looked forward to her heavenly homecoming. She was a former pharmacy technician at Fruth Pharmacy in Wellston, where she was employed for 17 years.
Ella was known for her beautiful flowers and flower gardens. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, singing with her husband at area churches and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Robert “Bumper” Daily; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and David Burnette; granddaughter, Taylor Marie Burnette; adopted granddaughter, Rebecca Canaday, all of Chesapeake, Oh.; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Ella was preceded in death by son, Timothy Mark Sowers; and brother and sister-in-law, Cleatus Bush, Jr. and Bonnie.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 9, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Barry Benson officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery. For those choosing to attend the services, facial coverings are required inside the building along with the practice of social distancing.
