Charles Dale Andrews, 76, of Jackson, went to his heavenly home May 19, 2022. He was born September 1, 1945, in Massilon, Ohio to the late Charles “Duke” and Sara Green Andrews. Charles attended Hope Haven School and worked at JVAC industries for 43 years. He was a member of the Jackson First Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years, where he served as a church usher. He liked to listen to music, watching game shows, going to Bible Study, taking walks and going for his weekly trip to the store. Charles was a collector of many things.
He is survived by his sister, Elaine (Tom) Wyatt; nieces: Denise Johnson, Shawna Dulaney, Andrera (Jesse) Barrows and Marilee Wyatt; nephews: Tom (Jessica) Wyatt, Jr. and Jeremy (Crystal) Wyatt. Charles was also survived by many aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, as well as his church family and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Erskine and Rev. Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Coalton Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charles’s name can be made to: Jackson First Church of the Nazarene, C/O Youth and Children, 251 Powell Drive, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
