Betty Jane (Skaggs) West, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at her home. She was born November 14th, 1930, to the late Brack and Carrie Skaggs.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda West of Jackson, Ohio; son-in-law, Rick Brady of Jackson, Ohio; four grandchildren: Williom B. (Michelle) West, Kim (Harold) Grim, Tony (Carrie) West, all of Jackson, Ohio and Melissa West of Gahanna, Ohio; ten great-grandchildren: Billy (Jamie) West and Kala Alley of Minford, Ohio, Hannah (Tyler) Brewer, Branden West, Hayley Tackett, Tiffani West, Breanna (Kyle) Bowman, Toni Renee West, Lillian West, and Abigail West, all of Jackson, Ohio; ten great-great-grandchildren: Braxton, Cameron, and Kash West, Cooper, and Brynnleigh Alley, Aaralynne, Sophia, and Kylen Bowman, and Harleigh Camp and Waylon Brewer; one brother, Joe (Janet) Skaggs; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, William West; daughter, Judith West Brady; granddaughter, Peggy Brady Tackett; great-granddaughter, Carrie Elizabeth West; five sisters: Madiline Barlow, Imogene West, Edith Houser, Charlotte McKenzie, and Wanda Milam; and two brothers: Franky Skaggs and Leroy Skaggs.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson.
