Betty Ann Carter, age 54, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at her home. She was born on June 22, 1965 to the late Sanford and Patty (McGoon) Snyder.
Betty was a long-time employee at Waterloo Coal Company until her health began to fail. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Charles Hiram Carter.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dennis Carter; daughter, Mindy (Huck) Logan; sons, Josh (Connie) Carter and Matt (Brooke) Carter; sisters, Barb Hicks, Burnetta (Mack) McGowan, Patty Gray, Vicky Perry, Carolyn Logan and Jackie (Jeremy) Trisch; and one brother, Lee (Debbie) Snyder.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Ryan, Emily and Tyler Carter, Preston and Waylon Logan, Matt Jr., Remington and Stryker Carter, and Jayden Swaney, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may call Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tim Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences nay be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
