Alice M. Lambert, age 72, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at her home. She was born February 21, 1941 in Wellston, Ohio, the daughter of the late Nelson and Josephine Brown Jarvis.
Alice retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Jackson where she was employed for over 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union and she enjoyed going to yard sales, camping, traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Calvin Lee Lambert, Sr.; four children, Melody Morgan of Wellston, Paul Jarvis of Wilkesville, Lee Lambert of Wellston and Melinda Harmon of Wellston; nine grandchildren, Christy Williams, Nikki Stafford, Jenny Swisher, Jody Morgan, Josh Morgan, Katie Lambert, Cheyenne Harmon, Gunnar Harmon and Paul Pennington; seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Nathan, Talan, Isabel, Rylan, Miley and Ryder; sister, Ruth Ann Leach of Wellston, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Jarvis and Frank Jarvis. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Allie Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.
