William C. Faught, Jr.

William C. Faught, Jr., age 69, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born Oct. 17, 1949 in Jackson County, Ohio, son of the late William C. Faught, Sr. and Eva Jean Cahoon Fletcher. 

Bill was a veteran of the United States Army, who served during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Bricklayers Local 22, and he retired from Trisco Systems.  Bill’s favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 371 of Wellston and the VFW Post 9092 in Wellston. 

Bill is survived by his sons, Tony Faught (Lisa) of Jackson and Scott Faught (Brianna) of Wellston; five grandchildren, Josh, Courtney, Matthew, Kale and Kadee; sisters, Susan Rhodes of Circleville and Vicki Henry of Hamden;  good friend, Stephanie Stewart, and her daughters, Tiffany and Tasha; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, William C. Faught III; and brother, Rick Faught. 

Calling hours will be Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating.  Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
