Terry Lee Rainer, age 62, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 at Holzer Medical Center ER in Jackson, Ohio. He was born Sept. 12, 1956 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Raymond E. Rainer and Dora Osborne Rainer.
Terry was a former construction worker who specialized in concrete work. Terry enjoyed listening to music and in his younger years, he enjoyed baseball. He took great pride in watching his sons play the game.
Terry is survived by his sons, Jason Rainer (Mandy Leach) and Colt Rainer, both of Wellston; grandchildren, Braley and Pacey Rainer and Miley and Brason Rainer; companion, Rosemary Blair of Jackson; sister, Mary Dearing of Jackson; brothers, George Denny (Norie) and Ronald Osborne (Vickie), both of Jackson; mother of his sons, Kathy Rainer of Wellston; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Watkins.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating.
