Sharon L. Bartolome, age 68, of Coalton, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the Holzer Medical Center ER in Jackson, Ohio. She was born February 27, 1946 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Ira E. Eggers and Harriet Geneva Austin Eggers.
Sharon was a 1964 graduate of Jackson High School and then continued on to become a graduate of the Chillicothe Cosmetology School. She was a loving homemaker and a member of the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church in Jackson, where she was very active with church functions and organizations.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mateo P. Bartolome, whom she married on Valentine’s Day in 1982; brother, Ira E. Eggers, Jr. of Jackson; brother-in-law, Sam Leach of Wellston; special nieces and special nephew, Robin Edwards of Wellston, Cheryl Leach of Jackson, Marsha Walters of Woodville and Joey Eggers of Jackson, as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Jean Leach and her special nephew, Marty Edwards.
In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church in Jackson with Pastor Rick Christman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions in Sharon’s name be given to the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church, 10595 Chillicothe Pike, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
