Richard L. Bloss, age 90, of Jackson, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at his home. He was born Sept. 9, 1928 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Henry and Beatrice Lowe Bloss. He was a member of the Hillside Chapel Church, worked for King Construction, he enjoyed farming, and traveling around the country in his RV camping.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Alma K. Beiler Bloss; sister: Betty (Delver) Richards; special friends: Shawn and Beth Osborne; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Henry and Charlie Bloss.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Neal officiating, and burial to follow at the Fairmount Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019.
