Norma Marie Hollingshead

Norma Marie Weber Hollingshead, age 85, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Jackson, Ohio. She was born March 4, 1933 in Marysville, Ohio to the late Albert G. Weber and Emma F. Eickemeyer Weber. Norma was a 1952 graduate of Marysville Lutheran High School.

She was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother whose biggest joy in life was her family. Norma was a former employee of C.D.C. in North Carolina, as well as Banquet Foods, where she was employed for several years. Norma was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Jackson and the Retired Senior Citizens Program (RSVP). Throughout her life, Norma enjoyed camping, fishing, playing with her grandchildren, and she loved going to the beach and seeing the ocean. She is survived by her children, James Kenneth Hollingshead (Judy), of Wellston, Richard Dale Hollingshead, Jr. (Nancy) of Wellston, Paul Dennis Hollingshead (Diane) of Canal Fulton, Christine Marie Fraley of Jackson, Janet Lee Kincaid (Rick) of Wellston, and Mark Allen Hollingshead (Kim) of Chillicothe; as well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dale Hollingshead, Sr. in 2002; daughter, Joan Luetta Hollingshead Dunn; son-in-law, Michael Fraley; and brother, Leroy Albert Weber.

Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 P.M. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Jackson with her grandson, Pastor Jeremy Hollingshead officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.
