Nathan Dean Tilley, age 26, of Jackson, Ohio, lost his battle to cancer at home surrounded by his family. He was born at Holzer Medical Center on May 3, 1993 in Gallipolis, Ohio. Nathan knew how much his family loved him and never gave up hope. They were by his side every step of his journey.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Richard and Lisa; brother, Dennis; sisters, Kristina (Dwayne) and Angie (John); daughter, Mallori Jane; favorite cousin, Amanda; special friend, Gabby; aunt, Renee Church; uncles, Jim (Katrina) and Ernie Tilley (Carol); nieces: Kyla, Kelsey, Trista, Liberty, and Laken; and nephew that he was very close with, Dennis.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Delores Jefferies and Earnest and Florence Tilley; as well as two brothers, Richard “Shad” Tilley and Jarrod “JD” Tilley.

Nathan enjoyed driving fast cars, fishing, and gambling at casinos. He was known by many for fixing computers or working on electronics. He was fierce and adventurous. He never knew a stranger and was very protective of those he loved. His greatest accomplishment was his beautiful daughter, Mallori whom he loved more than life itself. Nathan was outspoken and had a sense of humor that made everyone laugh. He believed in second chances.

The memory of his bright smile and quick wit will never be forgotten. Our broken hearts will forever feel the loss and emptiness of his absence.
