Kenneth O. “Chubby” Davis, age 86, of Pyro passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. Kenny was born in Pyro on January 30, 1926 to the late David E. and Jennie Mae Davis. He was a 1945 graduate of Oak Hill High School and served proudly in the United States Army during WW II where he received a Bronze Star.
Kenny is survived by two sons, K. Barry of New Albany, and Kevin (Cindy) Davis of Gahana; three daughters, Christina (Jerry) Hayes of Millersburg, Marsha (Ernie) Bell, of Groveport, and Lisa (Jeff) Mesecher of Jackson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Kenny is survived by one sister, Eleanor Jensen of Illinois.
In addition to his parents, Kenny is also preceded in death by his wife Jane Ann Davis in 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Howard officiating. Interment will immediately follow at C.M. Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
