Janet F. Clithero, age 88, of Jackson, Ohio, formerly of Sciotoville, Ohio, died Tuesday, Sept.10, 2013 at Holzer Medical Center Jackson.
Janet was born May 11, 1925 in Lucasville, Ohio, daughter to the late Charlie and Ethel (Wheeler) Sparks. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown, TN, but attended Wesley United Methodist Church after moving to Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ethel (Wheeler) Sparks; her husband, Donley W. Clithero; and one son, Donley W. Clithero Jr.
Janet is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and William Goodall, of Jackson, Ohio; one sister, Eileen McNeal Logan of McDermott; one grandson, Joshua Goodall and one granddaughter, Rachel Goodall, both of Jackson, OH; one nephew, Scott (Pam) McNeal, of McDermott, and two great-nephews, Jack and Scott McNeal of McDermott.
Funeral services are under the direction of Lewis & Gillum Funeral Homes in Jackson, Ohio. Friends and family may call on Friday, Sept. 13, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. at Wheelersburg Memorial Burial Park, 10556 Gallia Pike Rd, Wheelersburg, Ohio 45694.
