Harold “Pete” Dailey, Jr.

Harold “Pete” Dailey, Jr. age 65 passed away at his home in Coalton on Sunday, April 24, 2016. He was born June 9, 1950 in Vinton County to the late Harold Lloyd Dailey Sr. and Bertha Harvey Dailey. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son and brother Kevin Dailey.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Shirley Wilson Dailey, sons: Mike (Heather) Dailey and David Dailey, brothers: Carl (Jennifer) Dailey and Bill (Mindy) Dailey, sister: Diane (Jim) Adkins, grandchildren: Amber, Ben, Garrett, Dylan and David, as well as multiple brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.

Pete spent several years as a trustee of Coal Township, he loved his community and often stopped to chat with people about his grandchildren.
To those who wish to pay your respects, the family will receive friends from 4-8PM Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12PM Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Kincaid officiating and burial to follow in the Coalton Cemetery.
