Debra E. (Fannin) Caudill

By | July 14, 2018

Debra Elaine (Fannin) Caudill, of Hamden, returned to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 14, 2018 after a brief illness. Her devotion to her family and firm belief in God ultimately gave her peace.

She was born April 17, 1960 to Donald and Janet (Leach) Fannin in Gallipolis, Ohio. She grew up in Jackson and married the love of her life and best friend, Robert (Bo) Caudill on January 25, 1980. They made their home in Hamden and to their union were born two daughters, the joy of their lives.

Debbie attended Lakeview Baptist Church. She was one of God’s angels on Earth who put other’s needs before her own. She often anonymously provided for those she knew were in need either financially, emotionally or spiritually. Debbie touched so many lives. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Bo Caudill; daughters, Jessica (Jon) Bobst and Janelle (John) Loomis, both of Hamden; granddaughters, Journey, and Norah Loomis; mother, Janet Fannin; sister, Tina (Bob) Kinnamon; and brother, Greg (Julie) Fannin, all of Jackson. She was blessed with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Fannin; grandparents, George and Lillian Fannin and George and Helen Leach; and father and mother-in-law, Virgil and Dellie Caudill.

Friends may call Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Lamar O’Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, P.O. Box 446, Hamden, Ohio 45634. Beyond donations, Debbie always lived by the Golden Rule; Treat others the way you want to be treated, i.e. do a loving act of kindness, make someone laugh, send a card, give a hug, or say “I love you” to a special friend in her memory.
