Brooke Marie Bertschi, age 35, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was born August 14, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio to Terry E. Grant and Story Ann Hayes Grant.
Brooke was a 1998 graduate of West High School in Columbus. Her passion in life was her family, which was very evident, as she was a very loving wife and mother. Brooke was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Garth E. Bertschi II; her four children, Gabriel, James, Grant and Savannah; father, Terry E. Grant of Jackson; father-in-law, Garth E. Bertschi of Columbus, as well as an aunt, uncle and several cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Story Grant; her grandparents, Bill and Vicki Whitten and Hester Grant; and her mother-in-law, Susan Bertschi.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Roach and Associate Pastor Janie Karl officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
