Rev. Robert “Bob” Hatfield, age 89 of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Heartland of Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Junita “Frances” Hatfield; four children: Buford Hatfield of Jackson, Prentiss (Ida) Hatfield of Logan, Ohio, Regina (Tom) McCartney of Jackson and Connie Evans of Jackson. Also surviving are a step-daughter, Debbie (Bob) Hutchison of Jackson, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sister, Glada (Hershel) Maloney of Jackson also survives.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Dencie “Dean” Hatfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Tom Lock, along with three brothers and five sisters.<\/p>\n
Rev. Hatfield was the pastor of his own church, the White Oak Chapel, for 37 years. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17 at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Robert Schreiner officiating. Burial will follow at McCune Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 16, from 4:00 \u2013 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
