Dale Richard Davis, age 88, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Holzer of Jackson. He was born August 28, 1927 in Oak Hill, Ohio.<\/p>\n
Dale was a graduate of Oak Hill High School, Class of 1945 of which there were only three graduates. He was a lifelong hunter and outdoorsmen. He was beloved by his family and friends.<\/p>\n
Surviving him are his wife, Sadie B. (Cochran) Davis; three children (from a prior marriage): Steve Davis, Mike Davis, and Vickie Carlson; and numerous other family members and friends.<\/p>\n
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hamilton Church Cemetery.
