Shera “Sherry” Ann Carter-Lewis, age 51, passed away at Holzer Medical Center, Jackson, Ohio, Thursday, October 31, 2013. She was born February 19, 1962.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by husband, Michael D. Lewis; father, William E. Carter, Sr. and brother, Allen E. Carter.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her mother, Bonnie J. Carter and stepmother, Ruth Ann Carter; children: Michelle N. Vogt, Bonnie J. (Jason) Holsinger and Thomas W. Lewis; siblings: William E. (Fran) Carter Jr., Bunny Carter, Harry James Lee Carter, Michael Crowe and Anna M. (Larry) Caswell; grandchildren: Jessica A. and Savanna T. Flemister, Braiden E. and Amelia D. Holsinger; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
At Sherry’s request the body will be cremated and no calling hours or service will be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.mayhewbrownfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n
