Gwen was born March 25, 1952 in Gallipolis, OH. She was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and the University of Rio Grande. She was a long-time employee of the University of Rio Grande and a lifetime member of Moriah Presbyterian Church.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Evan Darwyn and Marian Smith Edwards and brother, Thomas Edwards.<\/p>\n<p>Gwen is survived by her husband, Greg Taylor; her two children, Andrea Crider and Kari Taylor; three siblings, Becky (Richard) Weber, Jim Edwards, and Chris (Carson) Hunt; and numerous nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Moriah Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Christine Burns officiating. Friends may call at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home from 4-8 on Monday, August 26. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children&#8217;s Research Hospital or the Moriah Presbyterian Church.
