Wanda Lee Hale, age 75, died at home on August 7, 2013. She was born December 7, 1937 in Decatur, Ohio. She resided in Oak Hill. Wanda was a loving wife to her husband David, who preceded her in death, and mother to five surviving children: Doug (Linda) Hale, Greg (Valerie) Hale, Carla (Charles) Burchett, Jeff (Andrea) Hale, Michael (Joy) Hale; and beloved family friend, Mike Stumbo.<\/p>\n
Survivors also include brothers, Bob (Carol) Malone and Doug (Phyllis) Malone, of Pennsylvania; sisters, Shirley (Wade) Johnson, of Marion, Ohio, Barb Bartels, of Patriot, Ohio, and ten grandchildren: Whitney (Kevin) Crabtree, JD Hale, Cody Hale, Westen Hale, Griffin Hale, Erin Hale, Taylor Hale, Halee Burchett, Hannah Burchett and Mitchell Hale; and one great-grandchild, Baylee Crabtree.<\/p>\n
In addition to her husband, David and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by brothers, Lee, Wendell, and Melvin Malone.<\/p>\n
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
