Arthur Henry Art Gee, 57, of State Route 104, Piketon, Ohio died 5:55 p.m.\u00a0Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his home.<\/p>\n
He was born January 13, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Vernon Elrod\u00a0Gee and Lenora Landrum Gee. On January 29, 2000 Art was united in marriage\u00a0to Cathy Lynn Rigsby Gee who survives.<\/p>\n
Also surviving are six children, Rachel Satterfield and husband Wayne of\u00a0Waverly, Ohio, Alex Gee and wife Cory of Piketon, Bonnie Chandler and\u00a0husband James of Akron, Ohio, Amy Davis and husband Gary of Beaver, Ohio,\u00a0Sonny Gee and wife Holly of Bainbridge, Ohio, Jamie Lee of Piketon, a\u00a0special friend, Eric Akers of Waverly, 11 grandchildren, and one on the way,\u00a0Aaron, Colton, Chase, Kyla, Donte, Zoe, Taylor, Logan, Austin, Madison,\u00a0Sophie and Nathan \u00b3Bug\u00b2, two sisters, Joyce Washburn and husband Delbert of\u00a0Russell Point, Ohio, Linda Mayes and husband Steve of Orient, Ohio, and a\u00a0brother, Gary Gee of West Virginia.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parents, a brother, Gregory Allen Gee, Sr., a sister, Nancy Allen and four grandchildren, Ava, Blake, Hayden and Chelsea, preceded\u00a0Art in death.<\/p>\n
Art was a retired laborer out of Local #83.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Boyer\u00a0Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. Jimmie Spencer officiating. Burial will\u00a0follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road, Waverly, Ohio.\u00a0Friends may call at the funeral home 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m.\u00a0until the service on Friday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
